The engineering range of CIMTAS includes structural steel, pressure vessels, storage tanks, overhead cranes, process piping, gas processing equipment, BOP equipment and 2D & 3D plant design, utilizing the latest versions of STAAD-III, SAP2000, Xsteel, AutoCAD, Catia, AVEVA, PDS, PDMS, Review Reality, IsoDraw, SpoolGen, Compress, Winshell, Caesar, CADWorx Pipe. The design and engineering information is shared by the engineering offices, the fabrication shops and the jobsites via a well-established communication and advanced information systems.

IBH Engineering GmbH, a CIMTAS subsidiary, also offers project management, consultancy, piping engineering and planning services for the chemical, pharma and water industries in addition to nuclear, coal and gas power plants with 100 engineers and technicians located in Ludwigshafen Germany.
