Çimtaş has successfully fabricated and shipped the heaviest single piece pressure vessel ever built by any company in Turkey.

The CO2 Absorber built and shipped for the Angola LNG Project is 1000 tons and have ID, and length of 5.300 mm, and 48.100 mm respectively.

Çimtaş with this project has set a new record in Turkey becoming the only company which can fabricate ans ship a vessel in the 1000 tons range.

All fabrication steps including Shell Bending, Head Forming, Welding, Heat Treatment (Furnace) , NDE Tests (RT,UT,MP,LPT,TOFD, etc.), Painting and Packing have been prerformed in-house at Cimtas Gemlik Works.
