May'06: 20 nos of Steel Wind Towers successfully delivered to GE WE for Bares II/Bandirma wind farm.

Cimtas has successfully completed supply, fabrication and painting of Steel Wind Towers and related foundation mounting pieces for “General Electric Wind Energy (GE WE)”, including shop installation of the mechanical and electrical accessories to enable a plug-in connection to the wind generator at Bares II/Bandirma site. In total 20 nos of GE WE steel towers are delivered in two sections, each 22-30 m in length and weighing 35-45 ton. Bares II wind farm is the largest local wind farm project (Project total: 30 MW) to date after a 3 years of stand still period in Turkish Wind Energy Market.
